The Deep Red Sony PSP was a real delight (I was actually looking forward to replacing my Ice Silver PSP for it but oh well) and now, Sony is set to release a new color for the PSP, Metallic Blue via two Sony PSP packs
- PSP Metallic Blue Value Pack
A new Metallic Blue PSP, pouch, hand strap, cloth, a 32MB Memory Stick Duo, as well as a D Terminal AV Cable.
- PSP Metallic Blue 1 Seg Pack
A Metallic Blue PSP with a widely popular 1 Seg tuner, a pouch in the same blue color that can store the PSP system with the tuner attached, a stand to place the PSP system for TV viewing, strap, cloth, and a 1GB Memory Stick PRO Duo.

I’d like to apologize for the very late post (to anyone still reading cosplay related entries on my blog that is), I had been busy with quite a lot of things In Real Life so I had to give blogging a break to focus more on that. Anyway, I think I’ve gotten my problems fixed so here goes the Aftermath Post for Mangaholix.
I was looking quite forward to Mangaholix for quite awhile since it’s one of the better known anime events which meant that who’s who in the Philippine Cosplay scene was going to be there (Alodia was there for those wondering) and there was a lot of people to snap pictures of with my new camera (a Nikon D40, I’m a real newb to digital photography but I’ve done film). Suffice to say, I was right to trim my expectations to a few items before the event itself:
- I’ll be spending more time with Ichiraku members than shooting pictures
- I’ll be shooting more photos of Ichiraku members than cosplayers
- I’ll probably be getting shots at the beginning of the convention AND towards the end
- I’ll probably spend more on food than anime merchandise

If you’re reading this post then it’s just 10 days to the 7th Philippine Toys, Hobbies and Collectibles Convention 2008, which is still one of the biggest anime/enthusiast event in the country. Known as just Toy Con to most, the convention is an ode to anime lovers, toy lovers, model kit hobbyists, comic book lovers, collectors and anyone who loves pretty girls (yeah you know you do). If you’re wondering what Toy con has in stored for you, here’s a cosplayer (Jac Ting Lim) from last year’s convention.
The picture is after the jump.
But just in case you forgot what event I’m talking about:
What: The 7th Philippine Toys, Hobbies and Collectibles Convention 2008
When: June 14-15, 2008, Saturday- Sunday
Where: Megatrade Hall 2-3, SM Megamall
Mandaluyong City, Philippines

June is the start of most classes (Mapua/Malayan starts in July, go figure why) and to start the school term/sem, most of the Philippine Anime and Cosplay Community gather to a good old event called Toycon or the Philippine Toys, Hobbies and Collectibles Convention 2008.
What: The 7th Philippine Toys, Hobbies and Collectibles Convention 2008
When: June 14-15, 2008, Saturday- Sunday
Where: Megatrade Hall 2-3, SM Megamall
Mandaluyong City, Philippines

This is the 7th Toycon (meaning the event has been persistent for 7 years now) and it looks to be the biggest ever. There was rumor a few months back that there would be no cosplay competitions on this year’s Toys, Hobbies and Collectibles Convention but I’m glad (as well as the Anime and Cosplay Community) that those rumors turned out to be false.
Ticket pricing is at 70 - 80 Php. Toycon tickets will not be presold by the usual shops and will only be available on the event itself.
Update: Made some changes to fit the Toycon Blogging Contest
Update 2: Added links to Event Rules which you should read if you’re planning on joining the events.

So you’ve finished Crisis Core and maybe even managed to defeat Minerva with the Materia Fusion Guide. Was it all worth it? Is Crisis Core worth the purchase? To most Final Fantasy die hards, collecting this UMD is a must (probably even getting the Japanese AND the English version is on every collector’s to do list) but to the regular gamer, what does Crisis Core really give us?
A stepping stone for one, since it’s a great reason to replay the original game, watch Advent Children then play Dirge of Cerberus all over again. The next would be answer to the timeless (or maybe not so timeless) question of “Who was Zack?” But after all that, did Crisis Core really deliver? Here’s some reasons why it didn’t make my Top Games list.
