Not soon after the official PlayStation launch (yeah, our country is late to the party but hey, better late than never), Sony has decided to up the ante by announcing it’s official protection plan for it’s PlayStation line of consoles, namely the PS3 and the PSP.

Three years and a half since the launch of the Wii and it seems we’re finally getting that black Wii console to match our black wiimotes, nunchuck and classic controller controllers (pardon the pun). It’s worth noting that when the Wii (known as the Revolution back then) was shown before release to sport the colors white, black, silver, lime green, and red. Oh Nintendo, why are you making us wait for the good stuff? The Japanese already have their black consoles since last year

Like the previous game in the series, Gundam vs Gundam Next Plus is the PSP adaptation of the wildly popular (in Japan at least) arcade game of the same title. If you’ve played the original, you’re probably wondering if it’s any good or is it better than the original. Chances are though, you’ve already played the game and this is a very late review
(Reminds me of my earlier post with Dragon Age). Still, better late than never.

If you’ve been playing the Starcraft II BETA offline or Starcraft 2 BETA vs AI or even just playing Starcraft 2 BETA replays, you might have encountered the “Unable to load map error.” There’s several reasons as to why this error triggers but the usual case is that you’ve just installed a new patch (the patch for Starcraft II BETA is currently at patch
and the maps you’re using aren’t compatible with it.
The solution is quite simple but requires some tinkering with directories on your computer. If you’re not comfortable with that, don’t worry, I’ll guide you every step of the way.

So you’ve started watching several Starcraft 2 Beta replays on your PC and you decide that you want in on the action. Unfortunately, you don’t have a BETA key to do that. Don’t worry. Because of the generous guys from Teknogods and Darkblizz, you can now participate in the Starcraft 2 Beta without a BETA key. The bonus? You get to pit yourself against Starcraft 2 BETA offline AI opponents!
Yah, you’d probably want to have the official BETA version thus allowing you to play with other Starcraft 2 Beta players but hey, beggars can’t be choosers. All you need to do is download the following files:
- StarCraft II BETA client from any of the following sources
- Direct download – Part: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
- Torrent (if you never used torrents before, download and install uTorrent first)
- Darkblizz All-in-one tool: Mirror 1 | Mirror 2 (current version is 4.7.0)
After getting those files, you can now proceed to the installation guide which will allow you to play the Starcraft 2 BETA offline against AI opponents

The PS2 celebrated it’s first decade just a few weeks prior and now we’re celebrating the 5th birthday of it’s portable little brother, the Sony PlayStation Portable. In it’s lifetime, the PSP has already sold close to 60 million units worldwide and currently has four iterations of it’s hardware as listed below:
- PSP-1000 (A.K.A PSP Phat)
- PSP-2000 (A.K.A PSP Slim)
- PSP-3000 (A.K.A PSP Brite)
- PSP Go
Love it or hate it, the PSP community is continuously growing (of course the fruit competitor would want to diminish that claim by the numbers) with no small thanks to the homebrew community that’s undoubtedly on of the many reasons people love the PSP format.

I really was hesitant to start playing No More Heroes because of the premise that screenshots and videos of the game seemed a wee bit familiar; it felt like those “do-good-yet-tough-guy-routine” characters from several popular anime (Sendo of Hajime no Ippo is one of them
). Cliched was the very first word I’d describe the series (yep, I’ll call it a series because there’s already two games under it’s belt
) so I thought to pass it for a while (I opted not to play it for.. umm 2 years? lol). After installing WiiFlow and feeling a bit courageous, I fired the game up for the first time.
My initial reaction? No More Heroes blew me away
.
