Hi any 1 tell me which one is better 6.35 pro b6 — or — 6.39 pro b6

    • atmaxplorer sylv3rblade May 30, 2011 Reply

If you don’t want to risk downgrading, I’d recommend 6.39 (if you’re already on 6.39 OFW)

In another post you told me the est choice would be 6.35 Pro-B5. that’s now updated to B-6, but which one would be better now, 6.35 Pro-B6 or 6.39 Pro-B6? it’s not a matter of convience in upgrading, because I’m at 6.20 TN-E right now

    • atmaxplorer sylv3rblade May 30, 2011 Reply

Well I replied before 6.xx-B6 came out. I’ll be recommending 6.35 Pro-B6 over 6.39 Pro-B6 since they have the same features, it’s just that 6.39 Pro-B6 was made for people who didn’t want to downgrade.

Still can’t figure out how to run ISOs on this 🙁

    • atmaxplorer sylv3rblade June 5, 2011 Reply

Have your tried creating an ISO folder and placing your ISOs there?

  13. ravenshonor Raven June 5, 2011 Reply

I guess the one I was having a problem with just wasn’t compatible with this LCFW. I’ve tried a couple of others and they work just fine. I am curious as to how I can back-up UMDs though. Is it possible to do it using the LCFW?

    **Running 6.39 PRO-B6

    • atmaxplorer sylv3rblade June 22, 2011 Reply

PRO-B6 has a built in PSX emulator. You just need to have them in the proper format (EBOOT.pbp files)

  18. colakh2011 Hus June 22, 2011 Reply

right..what I tried doing was making an ISO folder in the root of my mem stick and booting the isos from there, but it didn’t work out. You’re saying I have to convert the files to .pbp, right? If that’s the case, do you know of a conversion tool that works well? I read about PopsConv..

Thanks for the quick reply 🙂

the CFW reverted back to OFW when I ran it under Asia activated system. Once I’ve activated to US region and install the CFW again, voila! it’s works. It can run the ISO files. however i have not tried ran the other games for different region.
    Good job!

    • atmaxplorer sylv3rblade August 9, 2011 Reply

It’s been confirmed to be working with 6.20 TN-C and older 6.xx PRO builds (the newer ones like Pro-B8) seem to have users reporting problems.

      • napster100 napster100 August 9, 2011 Reply

so do i upgrade to OFW 6.20 then upgrade to CFW 6.20 TN-C ?

I was just wondering if someone could give me advise on how to install CFW 5.50 GEN-D3, i’ve managed to downgrade to 5.03 OFW and now upgraded to 5.50 OFW but when i try to upgrade to 5.50 GEN-D3 it says that the file is corupted and the files are all in the right place because i checked on youtube vids on how to, but i did try to install 5.50 GEN-D aswell so i could install 5.50 GEN-D3 but it said the same thing, please could you help me ?

    • atmaxplorer sylv3rblade August 12, 2011 Reply

Ahh you can’t convert your PSP from 5.50 OFW to 5.50 CFW. If you have stuck to 5.03 then you could’ve run ChickHen and ran Hellcat’s flasher to install 5.50 GEN-D3.

Hmm.. if you can wait I can whip out a post (in a few hours.. I’m on the bus atm) to help you out.

      • napster100 napster100 August 13, 2011 Reply

its okay, i can get it back to OFW 5.03, but after i done that i need to use ChickHen and Hellcats flasher, right ??

        • atmaxplorer sylv3rblade August 13, 2011

If you can downgrade (with a pandora battery) then yes, you can do that.

      • napster100 napster100 August 13, 2011 Reply

i’ve just downloaded ChickHen and Hellcats flasher to my USB stick, but i cant do any thing with my psp phat 1003 yet because i’m not at home, but i shall be in a few hours, and i’ll be able to make a start then.

Most of the iso/cso games can be played using pro-b6?

    • napster100 Napster100 September 5, 2011 Reply

Yeah they should do, i haven’t tryed my self because i’m on 6.20 TN-E, i use version.txt to play the latest games but i have heard that it works fine, some may not work though but if you do come across a few that don’t then try changeing the iso driver.

I need help. I’ve been thinking of switching to 6.39 since I’ve been out of the PSP playing community for a while. I have 5.50 Prometheus-4, and I also have the unpatched version of Patapon 3. If I switch to 6.39, will the Patapon 3 saves be corrupted? Please help me, thanks.
