    yes…at last there’s a post for 5.50 gen-b!!

So with going through the instructions here it does come up with “working… blah blah blah”
    then “done with success!”

    but I’m still at 5.00 M33-6

I’m used to DA’s fw where you have to have the official updater as well (I can only assume it needs to be named 550.pbp and be in the game\update folder), is that not needed in this one? I have it, but the readme for 550 gen-b is 90% french.

    Lil help?

no. You just need the 5.50 Eboot file. It’s written on the guide.

how do i DISABLE the plugins? when i go to the recovery menu> then to plugins> there is only option to go back? i have slim psp and CFW 3.71 m33

    • sylv3rblade on 22 Aug 09 at 20:53:53 said:

That simply means you don’t have any plugins to disable. You can jump to installing 5.50 GEN-A then GEN-B right away.

what is the difference between GEN-B and the firmware 5.00-M33 6??? is GEN-B a cracked software??

    • sylv3rblade on 28 Aug 09 at 15:20:08 said:

5.50 GEN-B is the latest custom firmware release, with it, you can play games that need firmware versions above 5.00 and PSN downloaded/bought ones. Access to PSN store is only available via THIS firmware only.

No it’s not cracked (because this is not an application).

      Madden 2010 requires 5.50 GEN-B to play. Since you’re already on 5.00 M33, just update to 5.50 GEN-A then to GEN-B.
