Is it necessary to upgrade to gen b-2 after gen-b?? Thanks!

    • sylv3rblade on 10 Jan 10 at 05:30:44 said:

Yep. Especially if you want to upgrade to 5.50 GEN-D3. Even if you don’t plan on upgrading, it’s still recommended to install the GEN B-2 patch.

After upgrading my psp to 5.50 GEN-B2 in the system information, it is still GEN-B (Full).

I installed 5.50 GEN-B2 but it is still GEN-B (full) in the system version. Is it really like that?

    • sylv3rblade on 17 Jan 10 at 04:53:54 said:

Yep. I guess the GEN TEAM forgot to update the version number with GEN-B2 but rest assured that it was successfully installed.

i’m trying to upgrade my psp from 5.50 GEN B to GEN-B2, when i try to update it, it said the data is corrupted. Should upgrade to GEN C then to GEN D?

    • sylv3rblade on 25 Jan 10 at 00:20:42 said:

No, you don’t need GEN-C to upgrade to GEN-D. The files you’ve downloaded are probably corrupted, try downloading it again.

iis it save to just transfer all downloaded files to the PSP? (overwriting it)

I got a problem. When I start the updater it said like this:
          Please wait… i need work…
          Done with success

Checked the version it still says : 5.50 GEN-B (Full). What should I do?
