The Nintendo DSi has a region lock, which, much to the chagrin of fans, casual gamers and importers, will prevent them from enjoying free DSi games and free DS games not meant for their region. A lot of DS-fans gave a collective sigh when the region locked news broke out which is why some of theme decided to wait out before purchasing for Nintendo DSi games. They’ll be sticking to their good old Nintendo DS and Nintendo DS Lite.
If you’ve jumped on the DSi bandwagon, then you’re probably looking for some free Nintendo DSi games or simply NDSI games.
So what does the region lock do?
Simple. If you’ve bought a US-released DSi and tried to play a Japanese-released NDSi game then you won’t be able to play it. This region lock applies to DSi-only games however, whose number is still at zero. hi to all! i have a blue DSi and does not have any r4 carte nor acekard but have my microsd card need to know if it is possible to donwload games for free in my nintendo DSi? or to put in my micro sd card. thank. need an answer please.
