Like Dell, with their Lattitude XT, Apple is pitching in their badge in the Tablet PC market. Asus is one of many of Apple’s contract manufacturer, producing parts and products like the iBooks, PowerBooks.

Will Apple’s entry bring much needed attention into the Tablet PC? It’s a gamble. Considering how well Vista integrates with Touchscreen equipped notebooks like HP’s TX1000 and it’s family, Apple is in the limelight once again with fans waiting for them to deliver something unique or revolutionary.
No word yet on a launch date as well as final specs for the Apple Tablet PC.
