Upon Remembering the Commercial launch for RFO.PH (that’s RF Online Philippines), I know a lot of prospective players were turned away by the whopping 500 Php monthly fee, one that LUG had promised to be worth it in terms of fun factor and game play. A few months later, with the release of episode 2, RFO follows in the footsteps of RAN Online by offering free gameplay for life. What would this mean for current players? The influx of new players will flood the system (as it is with any new Free2Play) as people try to sort things out and see if RF is worth the time, market prices will fluctuate, etc. To gamers, the obvious question still looms: Is the update worth it?

I’ve finished downloading and installing a copy of the game from LUG’s servers and just started exploration. I will post more info once I’ve place about 20 hrs of the game.
