As an enthusiast, it’s always been my point to buy and build my own rigs. The only time I’ve bought a prepackaged pc was when I bought my laptop (little you can do there). My current rig is about 2 years old and I’m feeling it’s age whenever at every start up so I decided to build a new one. This is a canvas of what I intend to buy in the next few weeks to replace my main PC and you can use it as a guide if you’re planning on building your own rig anytime soon.
Notes:
- Prices are in Php not USD so don’t flip over.
- Prices may vary depending on your vendor. I choose Enigma and PCXpress, which are close by from my address and have about the lowest retail price compared to their nearby competitors
- Some products may not be available in your area
- I am not in anyway affiliated with the aforementioned stores.
- I didn’t include an optical drive because I have one too many
- I didn’t include software price for OS because we all know where we get them *insert evil smile here*
Here’s the component list and prices:

With the current popularity of compact, or kei-cars, like the Jazz and the Swift, Mitsubishi is set to enter the field with Concept-cX?a new-generation compact SUV that balances between the environment and performance.
The exterior design gives a purposeful yet functional form using a dynamic wedge shape and large tires that gives the car it?s aggressive and powerful appearance. The interior employs a modern and sporty design that allows a sense of expectation about the car?s performance and melds this with a high level of comfort. By visually accenting the strength of the underlying frame structure and through the contrasting use of soft padding, the design creates an interior space that wraps its occupants in a protective and comfortable cocoon. Made from Mitsubishi?s own Green Plastic ? made from bamboo and other plant-based resins ? the Concept-cX is sure to please car enthusiasts and environmentalists alike.

Sony Ericsson head Peter Anhegard, has confirmed the coming of a Playstation-branded gaming handset. Although a date is still to be set, Christmas he said although he didn’t specify which, rumors of features from the upcoming product are currently surging through the net.
If you could still recall the first phone to integrate it’s gaming as it’s main feature, ergo the Nokia NGAGE, which was a total flop, it would appear that Sony Ericsson has found itself a wide open franchise. Given that current Smartphones have hardware that perform nearly at par with the PSP, which is somewhere in between the PS1 and PS2, it’s hard to imagine what the Playstation Phone will be capable of when it comes.
The main issue to address when the idea of the Playstation Phone comes to mind of the tech-y person, would be developer support. Sure, you may have a dandy-looking phone with nice and powerful features but what can you do with it? The NGAGE flopped because there no one to make games for it. Hence the question, if the Playstation Phone would carry a different game format, will game makers and/or mobile software developers go for it?
To the wary, a quick check of sales would reveal that the company’s batting average when it comes to mobile phones is a bit high, with the P- and the K-line handsets, spearheading their mobile line. Even I prefer the over the competion.

There are hundreds of useful (and most of the time not) Firefox extensions to improve your browsing experience as well as bog down the browser’s performance. I choose 4 out of the flock and limit myself to them, to balance work-ability as well as the bulkiness of my Firefox install.
All-In-One Sidebar
Available via: he AiOS Repository or Developer site
Why?
If you’ve tried the Opera browser, you’d love the sidebar that’s well integrated into it. It holds everything you need like bookmarks, downloads, history, plugins/widgets, etc and you can hide the darn thing at the click of a button. All in One Sidebar (or AiOS if that seems a bit long) brings that functionality to Firefox.
If you still don’t get the beauty of this plugin in, try this scenario: You’re constantly checking your downloads, browsing your favorite site and looking for bookmarks that relate to what you are working on, all at the same time. You may get away with checking your bookmarks but I’m sure you’ll opt for a simpler way of checking your downloads without Alt-tabbing your time away.
the edge again hides AiOS again.
