or people can opt to use neuron’s 6.39 cfw. I would prefer downgrading. But, if you would think otherwise just visit this link guys http://www.psp-hacks.com/2011/05/27/cfw-6-39-me-2-installer-for-ofw-6-39/#more-19362

I’m thinking of posting it as well but you got to remember that neuron’s cfw is only for hackable PSPs.

Hey, Sylv! Neuron has recently updated his cfw. Now PSP 3000s can use it as well.

I have a psp 3000 (it says 3001 under battery) with 6.37 OFW. can it be hacked? if yes, how?

    • atmaxplorer sylv3rblade May 29, 2011 Reply

Yep, you can now install LCFW on your PSP with 6.37 OFW:

      Upgrade to 6.38 OFW
      Then Downgrade to 6.20 OFW

From there you have a choice of installing 6.20 TN-E or 6.35 Pro-B5

Can anyone tell me how to downgrade 6.39 TN-A to 6.20 TN-A ?
It there a way to remove TN-A entirely ?
I can’t see ISO and no aloader works.

Just to clear things up, 6.39 TN-A (or 6.20 for that matter) does not include the aLoader, TN Xtended that hasthe aLoader included. To unload TN, just turn off your PSP.

Your PSP-3000 can only be downgraded if it’s one of the older units, if it’s a new one (one that shipped with 6.3x firmware), you can’t. Yes you can install 6.39 PRO-B9 to play ISOs.
