It’s been just a few days and we’ve seen several updates on the PSP Custom  Firmware scene.  If you’re looking for CFW 5.00 M33-2, you can look at the changelog on my guide on how to install 5.00 M33 but I suggest skipping it since the latest update provides fixes to:

• A bug was introduced in 5.00 M33-2 that made some games and homebrew not to work
• PSN version check is now automatically bypassed without need of touching any setting

Requirements

• Your PSP installed with 5.00 M33-2 or 5.00 M33. If you still don’t have your PSP updated , here’s how you can install 5.00 M33 or M33-2.
• PSP battery that’s at least 78% full
• Download:  5.00 M33-3 | 5.00 M33-3 | 5.00M33-3 (RapidShare) | 5.00M33-3 (MegaUpload)

How to install 5.00 M33-3 CFW on your PSP:

1. Extract the 5.00 M33-3 installer files to your computer.
2. Copy the Update folder to X:/PSP/GAME/ on your PSP’s memory stick.
3. Run 5.00 M33-3 UPDATE from under Game on your PSP’s XMB
4. After all process is complete, press X. Your PSP will reboot.
5. Congratulations, you’ve just installed 5.00 M33-3

You can also install the firmware via Wifi if you have a connection available to you.
